The Benefits of Keto Coffee – No More Mid-day Crash

Coffee Cups Full OF COFFEE

Coffee has been a huge part of society even before the dieting industry was created. In fact, coffee shops all over Europe were birthplaces of ideas and revolutions. Not just because it had your mind racing, but because it brings people together as no other beverage does.

The Keto Diet made a crash-in appearance recently, and as a result, so have a bunch of products around Keto. From supplements to creams, and even a gel of some sort, we have now come full circle. We’ve come back to coffee.

Bulletproof coffee was probably the first Keto coffee drink, but it has a real lack of flavor. Though its benefits outweigh the cons. Why would you want to drink butter? Well, that’s complicated. The biggest reason is to keep your fats high, and your carbs low.

Let me explain.

Keto is a Ratio Game

A common thing you’ll hear a Keto dieter say is “I need more fat today”. It’s not for no reason. Keto requires that you fill your diet up to 70%-80% full of fat.

Keto coffee is a game changer. You can stick as much fat as you can handle in it, it’s still coffee, and you feel energized. What’s the downside?

It tastes awful, that’s the downside. Besides that, there really isn’t a thing wrong with it.

The major benefits have been self-reported. Take them with a grain of salt. Here’s what I’ve heard/seen personally.

They feel more energized

There’s no mid-day crash

They feel less hungry

They get the fat they need on Keto

These benefits are the most major ones. Though I’m certain there are others, I just haven’t heard them personally. So I’m not willing to include them because I haven’t witnessed it.

Most Keto coffee mixtures are about 20%-30% fat. An average cup of coffee being about 8 oz, we can safely say about 2 oz of that is pure fat.

It’s really difficult to imagine ounces. So let me give you an example in the theater of the imagination. Take an egg, just a regular little egg. That’s about 2 oz.

Not a lot of fat. But let’s think about this like a Keto dieter. If you have Keto coffee in the morning and skip breakfast, that means you have a headstart on your fat in-take for the day.

Keto coffee has been made a staple for these dieters. My wife has one cup every morning, and sometimes another every lunch. It’s now ingrained in the very heart of Keto.

Benefit #1 – Feel More Energized

I was super skeptical at first, my wife was too. She bit the bullet, so to speak, and started drinking it. She now doesn’t get tired until the end of the day.

I don’t know if that’s due to Ketosis kicking in from the fat, or the sustained energy from the coffee. Either way, she is far more energetic now than before.

Just before her two-mile walk to work, all she has is this coffee. Sometimes she makes breakfast, but I’m not sure how often. So far, she’s slimmed down a lot more since she started drinking this stuff in combination with regular Keto dieting.

You’ll have to decide for yourself if this is mind-over-matter or not. The only way to find out the real benefits is to try it for yourself for a month.

I say a month because it will bring to light the effects over most given situations. Opposed to having it for a week and not seeing the sustained results.

She also told me that she feels like she has more motivation around her mid-day than before. Which leads me too!

Benefit #2 No Mid-day Crash

The mid-day crash is the worst part of my day. It’s the time I feel like napping and snacking. I rarely get that option.

My wife has reported that she has sustained energy through the mid-day period. That sounds heavenly. I’m considering trying this Keto coffee for myself. As I just drink black coffee at the moment.

I’ve been off-put mostly by the flavor. I think if that were avoidable I’d be addicted.

Benefit #3 Feel Less Hungry

This is the big one for my wife. She doesn’t normally get hungry until dinnertime. She eats lunch of course, but only because she knows she needs to.

There have been a lot of reports of this being a major hunger suppressant. It could be that the sustained energy from the combination of fat and caffeine convinces your body that it no longer needs any more energy. I don’t know if that’s true, but it’s a theory I’m willing to bet on.

Benefit #4 Increases Your Fat Intake

Here’s the final benefit. Arguably the most important as well. While on Keto, you have to sustain very high-fat levels. As such, breakfast is a big thing for Keto dieters.

You can’t have waffles or pancakes, but you can have eggs and bacon. That being the most highly advertised benefit of Keto, is also it’s downfall.

No carbs mean no yummy delicious carbs. I know, it’s terrible, but I love fatty foods more than carbs most of the time.

Keto coffee replaces an entire meal and also ups your intake of fat. That’s the biggest benefit for Keto dieters by far.

I thought I’d add some good recipes for you. These ones even I will drink.
